Wandering Soul

In fleeting joys and worldly gain,
We find ourselves entwined in pain.
Oh, how I yearn to cleanse my past,
In Your mercy, may my sins be cast.

You, my Lord, my guiding light, In Your presence, all is right.
From the evils of men, You shield, In Your refuge, my soul is healed.

To face the demons, You empower, In Your name, I face the darkest hour.
Earthly treasures hold no allure, For heaven's promise, I endure.

Sent into this world's abyss, With Your grace, I find my bliss.
Reveal my flaws, my faults, my fears, With Your guidance, wipe away my tears.

May my faith stand strong, unswayed, In Your mercy, my soul is laid. For without Your blessing's grace, I am lost in this mortal race.

Grant me strength to conquer strife, With Your love, I'll claim this life. In Your absence, I'm but a wandering soul, Lost in desire's endless toll.
