Awaited Saviour

In a world of swirling chaos, madness seeps,
Where fragile hearts, cracked and broken, weep,
People, trapped in their own delusive game,
Lost in their follies, consumed by shame.

Oh, the intricacies of their tangled minds,
A dance of discord, as reason slowly binds,
They harm themselves, oblivious to the pain,
A cycle of suffering, a futile refrain.

Seeking love, they wander, hearts laid bare,
But love's embrace becomes a taunting snare,
For in the depths of affection's tender gaze,
Lies the potential to ignite a burning blaze.

And when the flames diminish, leaving only tears,
Love's fleeting presence dissipates, disappears,
Leaving hearts shattered, burdened by despair,
Weighed down by wounds, too heavy to bear.

Peace and truth, they beckon, a plea to hear,
Yet people, hesitant, bury their fears,
Preferring shades of illusion and deceit,
As reality fades, obscured by their deceit.

From birth's first cry to life's final breath,
This world, it seems, extracts only tears, not mirth,
But amidst the chaos, in darkness deep,
A glimmer of hope, a promise to keep.

For the souls who continue to grieve
Hope in his return who still believe,
Glad tidings from God they will receive
To guide the ones who've gone astray
He shall reappear with a radiant ray
