Time & Age

Sadness, a guest that may not forever reside,
In its shadow, happiness shall confide,
Remember, life's essence is in the blend,
Of struggle and joy, on this journey we transcend.
Time, a tender healer, yet not alone,
Age, a sculptor crafting soul to refine,
Sorrows burn, as seasons depart,
Yet even they succumb to time's embrace,
Happiness too finds its rightful place,
As time and age etch their mark on the heart.
Promises alone can't shape life's fate,
Deeds must follow, true and bold.
Tears may soothe, but cannot quell,
Grief's fierce fire, burning inside.
With years that pass, age slowly decreases,
In broken hearts and souls, wisdom increases.
